Phenix at Surfaces 2018 

Phenix delivers another incomparable show experience at this year’s International Surfaces Event. The International Surfaces Event is held annually at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada. Shortened and referred to as “TISE” is THE industry marketplace for floorcovering, stone, and tile industry professionals – offering four impressive days of the newest products, hands-on demos, inspiring trends, key manufacturers + industry suppliers, along with unmatched education and networking opportunities.

Phenix Flooring has had a strong presence at Surfaces for the past 7 years, and this year was no exception. Crafted by Phenix was our Surfaces 2018 theme. By capturing the artisanal approach to flooring development and sales that Phenix is known for, “Crafted by Phenix” set the tone for this year’s show. Phenix supported this theme by showcasing the expansion of several new carpet collections, including Cleaner Home, STAINMASTER PetProtect, and our SureSoft solution dyed polyester. We also featured the addition of several new hard surface products and displays and the introduction of a new main street commercial collection, Phenix On Main.

We increased visibility with a larger and more open booth space allowing us to feature both hard surface and soft surface as equals on the floor.  Point of View was the featured hard surface style and was eye catching with 3 unique floor layouts. Point of View, luxury vinyl plank and tile, is part of our new Design Mix program that allows users to mix and match colors and textures to create unique floor layouts. The carpet styles featured were Karma, a new bold pattern that features a subtle plaid design, and Stoneybrook II, a textured multicolor pattern. The addition of 20’ lit walls also added to the interest of our booth design this year. We wowed attendees with a new hanging sign that could be seen from across the showroom floor. Our booth also highlighted an area where attendees could learn more about our Cleaner Home collection featuring Microban Antimicrobial Technology with support staff from Microban there to help. And for the first time in Phenix history at Surfaces, we offered customers the opportunity to purchase special goods in our booth. The entire space was clean and open bringing in positive energy from all who passed by.
